What is divorced not dead about?

She decides to get back into dating, and gives online dating a try. The book provides an insight into the jungle that is online dating. How bad can it be, right? Find out as you follow Frankie through the perils online dating brings.
My thoughts
Firstly, I love how this book is written about someone who isn’t in their 20’s. Although my children are younger, and I face different challenges in life, I really warmed to Frankie. Seeing her confidence build throughout the book was heartwarming.
Secondly, this book made me actually laugh out loud at times. I also ventured into the world of dating and I recognised many of the characters Frankie mentions. Although my dating experiences were a good few years ago, it seems not much has changed🤣. My experiences of the dating world, and ‘hatfishing’ are in this post here.
I found the ending to be fairly predictable, but it was lovely none the less. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. If you are looking for a book to make you laugh, then I would suggest this one. Both lighthearted and full of humour, it is sure to get you chuckling. Although if you are listening to this as an audio book, maybe don’t listen around the kids, or stick your headphones in!
